Milt is a well-known and accomplished sheepdog handler having competed
across North America with his dogs Finn, Doc and Bob. Milt and his dog Bob
were the winners of the double lift at the 2024 Canadian Border Collie
Association Championships. Milt has been the Western Canadian Champion three
times and has won the World Stock Dog Championship at Calgary three times.
Milt, who lives just east of Airdrie, Alberta, has been competing with stock
dogs since 1989. His love of the sport stems back to his early days on a
farm in Eastend, Saskatchewan.
